Branding isn’t your look, though that’s part of it (Note: See “Art Direction”). Branding is knowing that you’re the person in the grey shirt who listens to Black Flag and leaves the party early without telling anyone. Or that you exclusively eat cobb salads and enjoy kayaking on Saturdays. Whatever your brand may be, there’s a good chance you’re already doing it—you may just not be aware of how and why. Art Direction
Art Direction is the nice way of saying that your shirt doesn’t match your pants. And that’s okay—we can fix that. Or we can roll with it because that’s just your thing. Either way, the goal here is—in the words of Dolly Parton because why not?—to “find out who you are and do it on purpose.” But, you know, for visuals. Kind of like an alignment. It helps when others are seeing the real you.

Print is alive and well, as evidenced by the boxes all our digital devices arrived in. It’s an opportunity for an immediate experience—something you can touch, turn around and interact with IRL. A great print piece is kind of like a great idea in that it’s only as strong as its execution. The very best print pieces are made to be enjoyed and made consciously so they won’t take up space in a landfill for all eternity.

AKA The New Brick & Mortar. Nothing can replace an in-person experience but nowadays, almost no one knows about that in-person experience unless they saw it online first in some form or fashion. What’s more, web can be its own experience. Something to complement your off-screen endeavors. Or totally replace them if you’re fully on-screen. Embrace the screeeen.
